The name Crouch And Hold comes from Rugby, it is when the two front rows lock together. It was adopted by the winning front row of the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Crouch and Hold is owned by Alan Lamb and was launched in June 2006 with the support of former Gloucester rugby players Ryan Lamb(currently London Irish) and Anthony Allen(currently Leicester Tigers). Crouch And Hold began trading in a unit at Quedgely business park in Gloucester and has since moved to the curent offices of St James trading estate, Barton St, found in the heart of Gloucester city.
